Individual Refund Policy

Cancellation Procedure

Students or parents may cancel sessions by contacting Vincent via WhatsApp or phone call. Confirmation of the cancellation and refund process will be provided within 2 days of the notice. If the canceled session was part of a month or week-long package, the cancellation will automatically revert to a one-hour session rate, with any applicable charges for the completed sessions.

Refunds for Pre-Session Withdrawals

Students or parents may cancel lessons up to 4 sessions before the start date and receive a refund for the remaining sessions, minus a 10% administrative fee. This fee helps cover the cost of reserving the tutor's time and any preparatory work done in anticipation of the sessions.

Refunds for Early Session Withdrawals

If a student withdraws within the first 3 days of the sessions, a refund will be provided, subject to a deduction of 15% of the initial fee for administrative costs. For students enrolled in a month or 3-week session, this will be recalculated to an hourly rate for the completed sessions, and the remaining balance will be refunded accordingly.

Refunds for Late Session Withdrawals

No refunds will be provided for withdrawals made 3 days after the session start date or later, except in exceptional circumstances as determined by Vincent Private Tutor. In such cases, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of the business, and a 20% fee will be deducted from any refund granted.

Refunds for Late or Missed Lessons

Students are expected to attend all sessions on time. If a student is late by more than 30 minutes without prior notice, the session may be considered canceled, and no refund will be provided for that session. If a lesson is missed without at least 4 hours' notice, the student will not be eligible for a refund. However, an effort will be made to reschedule missed lessons, provided they do not interfere with the start of subsequent sessions.

Student Obligations Students are expected to assist the tutor in identifying problem areas and come prepared with all necessary materials for each session. Completion of assignments, exercises, or homework is crucial for the success of the tutoring process, and students are expected to complete them promptly.

This approach ensures that both students and the business are protected, allowing for a fair and efficient resolution of any issues that may arise.
